During winter break my freshman year in college, I visited Zan at home in St. Thomas. One night we went out for sushi, but I don’t like fish so I just ordered rice and miso soup. This may seem like a boring or bland dinner, but I actually love the simple yet flavorful combination. You can tell from the picture that I was very happy; even though I had actually just found out that I lost my wallet and someone was using my credit cards. A good meal can make you feel better about just about anything!
