…and a heaping tablespoon of creamy peanut butter (I prefer the crunchy kind but creamy JIF was all we had in the cupboard.We got it for free; I only buy the healthy stuff like Trader Joe’s almond butter, Peanut Butter & Co. or Saratoga Peanut Butter Company).

This was washed down with a Zevia soda, ginger root beer sweetened with stevia (and maybe a couple more cookies… oops).

Dinner began with stiff drinks at Neely’s (a restaurant by the couple of Food Network fame). I had tequila with muddled peaches and Kiyo has Jack Daniels with berries.

Kiyo and I were famished after a really long day so we split some deep-fried pickles. They had dill mixed into the batter and were delicious, especially with the tasty dipping sauce.

Lastly, I devoured a huge, amazing cobb salad – romaine lettuce topped with fried green tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, smoked turkey, candied bacon, avocado and blue cheese dressing. I don’t think I need to even explain why this salad was amazing.
This day was actually Monday of this week. I ate a ton; what can I say, I was starving! We’ve been extremely busy and crazed at work preparing for a trip and event in Los Angeles, which is where I am now… L.A. food updates to follow!
